Pharmacist Needed in a hospital in Brooklyn
Full – Time temporary Monday-Friday (Alternate Weekends) Shift: 3pm - 11pm

Job Description:
Position Requirements
1. This position requires a minimum formal education of Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years job-related experience.
2. Desired (not required) criteria include: Active membership in at least one professional pharmacy organization.
Basic computer knowledge. Residency in Emergency Pharmacy Preferred.
3. Emergency Room Hospital Pharmacy Experience
4. New York State Pharmacist License.
5. Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy. Basic Computer knowledge. Experience in parenteral nutrition, sterile products, and chemotherapy compounding.

Job Description:
- Demonstrates ability to read, analyze and interpret pharmacy related journals.
- Demonstrates the ability to define problems, collect data, establish fact and draw valid conclusions.
- Demonstrates the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract variables.
- Demonstrates ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as dosage calculations.
- Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customer, regulatory agencies or members of the hospital staff.
- Ability to assist management in specialized projects.
- Compounds, preserves and dispenses all medication orders as written by an authorized practitioner on the staff of hospital.
- Reviews medication orders and pharmacy profiles to ensure that appropriate, quality pharmacy services are being provided to our patients.
- Provides and documents drug information furnished to practitioners of hospital.
