Role responsibilities

As Performance Technician, you will carry out in depth fault finding to solve technical issues. You will primarily focus on live defects, ensuring all relevant reports/procedures and materials are available to the maintenance team. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Set up Work Reports in advance of unit arrivals so that all work required is captured.
  • Review completed work to develop a ‘Right First Time’ approach to defects.
  • Liaise with Maintenance Control, Stores, Control and Engineering to ensure the team have all the information to hand when needed.
  • Fault finding and investigation of re-occurring/prolonged faults
  • Writing in-depth technical reports on technical issues and faults
  • Provision of information to Engineering on possible technical improvements to the fleet

Essential requirements to be considered for this role:

  • Qualified Craftsmen
  • 5 years craft experience
  • Leadership skills
  • Experience of managing resources

Welsh Language Skills

The ability to speak/write Welsh would be advantageous to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
