Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must know heavy equipment parts and truck parts.
• Establish and maintain good working relationship with Wholesale and retail customers.
• Maintain parts inventory, including stocking shelves, organizing bins, binning new parts, and recording the location, conducting perpetual bin audits, and maintain special order bins.
• Assist in Physical Parts Inventory annually.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Possess a valid driver s license.
• Detail orientated.
• Follows up on back-ordered parts.
• Replenishes assigned inventory daily.
• Makes sure all requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Keeps current on new products and product updates.
• Maintains a safe working environment while ensuring and implementing practices including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be organized.
• Skilled at listening, problem-solving and communicating orally.
• Being economical with company money to find, and purchase parts.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of managing a high-volume Parts department.
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Must have valid license.
• Excellent inter-personal skills
• Communicate in a professional manner.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Willingness to work hard, learn quickly and integrate into the culture at Kerr Contractors.
• Experience with dealership parts and inventory
