Description: Full-time Paraprofessional, supporting the new Complex Support Needs Classroom, 7.0 hours/day, 186 days/year, working 7:00 am - 2:30 pm (tentative hours - could change based on needs of students) with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch at Kennard-Dale High School (grades 9-12).

Salary Range: Range III, beginning of range is $14.00 per hour, hourly wage will be determined based on experience. The position works all 181 student days plus three additional staff development days and is paid for two holidays (Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day). This is a full-time position that offers medical, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as the PA School Employee Retirement System. Paid sick, personal, and bereavement days are available each year.
Job Summary: Provide academic support to students under the direction of the Administration and/or classroom teacher as well as offer a variety of clerical support as assigned by the administration.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must possess positive communication skills, organization skills and the ability to work with students and staff. Paraprofessionals are required to complete the process to be deemed "Highly Qualified" or have at least the number of college credits that equates to an associate degree.

If applicant has a completed PA child abuse history clearance, PA criminal record check and the Federal criminal history record these should be uploaded. If these clearances are not done prior to applying then applicants will need to supply these if offered employment.
