Core responsibilities include:
- Assist with preparation of filings
- Provide legal project and case management, including cite-checking and e-filing, client communication, document tracking and management, attend meetings and proceedings
- Research, evaluate, and monitor online resources and dockets
- Draft communications
- Supervise Project Assistants on assigned tasks
Skills needed:
- Excellent writing and communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to work in a high-paced, team environment required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with excellent understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
Educational & Work Requirements:
- Work Experience: 5+ years relevant law firm or legal office experience
- Degree: Bachelor’s Degree
-Preferred - notary license
- Schedule is predictable with occasional flexibility needed during heavier workload periods
- Attend relevant legal education to continuously improve legal skills
