Apply paint to various surfaces, including: walls, floors, doors, and rails. You will be asked to scrape, sandpaper, prime, or seal surfaces prior to painting. Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection. You may also be asked to fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, or other fillers. You will utilize high lifts or ladders when it’s needed. Follow all safety requirements and standards at all times

Job Description
To be responsible for ensuring equipment and facility sanitary specifications are attained. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee will also be responsible for painting and other maintenance work.

• Responsible for performing tasks as assigned by Department Supervisor.
• Apply paint to multiple substrates and surfaces.
• Responsible for ensuring work area is kept clean and safe.
• Must be able to understand the proper use of paints and solvents to work in an efficient yet effective manner.
• Must be able to work as a team player with other employees in the Specialty and Operation Departments.
• Must use proper personal protective equipment.
• Must be able to be flexible with varying job assignments and working conditions.
• Responsible for following plant rules as it pertains to each job site.

Requirements:

• Painting / Prepping experience
• Must be energetic, pleasant & professional
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of customer service
• Recognize and understand safety signs and building warning systems. Understand safety requirements, understand & meet company handbook expectations.
• Ability to change tasks or assignments outside normal duties.
• Must be comfortable wearing PPE (Hard hat, steel toed shoes, vest, etc)

Work Schedule

• 5pm-1:30am
• Monday - Friday

Pay: $14/hour

We conduct pre-employment drug tests and background checks.
