Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and self-driven Outside Sales Representative with a growth mindset to join our sales team. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining new Dealer, Carrier, Finance Company, and Insurance Agency sales and relationships. This is a great opportunity to join an established and fast-growing organization! 10-4, good buddy!
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Leads insurance agency onboarding and ongoing relationship management through communication with agency ownership, management, and frontline staff.
- Utilizing feedback from both external and internal partners, executes high quality agency strategies to achieve direct written premium, profit and new business goals (applications, quotes, binds).
- Communicates underwriting appetite and target market messaging (owner operators and small fleet owners) to agency partners and identifies and addresses profit or quality of business concerns (low hit ratio, low submission numbers, etc.).
- Collaborates with and supports internal business partners (underwriting/product management/claims) to identify and capitalize on opportunities, solve problems, share key competitor and industry intel and provide voice of our agent.
- Establish and track production thresholds with agencies and other partners to ensure relationships remain mutually beneficial
- Leverage Ten Four’s expertise and industry knowledge to identify prospective partners and uncover new business opportunities
- Effectively communicate Ten Four’s value proposition to prospective partners and identify and understand their product or service needs
- Ensure customer satisfaction with newly established partners through ongoing communication and relationship management
- Utilize Hubspot (CRM) to track all activity as you move prospective partners from top of sales funnel to completion and manage ongoing customer relationships
- Ability to lead engaging sales presentations/meetings with prospective customers
- Attend industry trade shows to identify potential partners/key stakeholders and make meaningful contact with existing customers
- Brainstorm creative ways to improve the interaction between Ten Four and external partners, keeping Ten Four “top of mind” and the process of doing business seamless and easy
- Be a positive representative of Ten Four Truck Insurance and its brand in the marketplace
Job qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Highly motivated self-starter with hunter mentality

- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
- Passion for sales and people
- Willingness to learn, train, and grow
- P&C Insurance and Trucking industry knowledge a plus
