The Sweis Beauty Brands Outside Sales Consultant is responsible for achieving the sales objectives of exclusive professional hair care and beauty brands.

The successful candidate will:

• Presents state of the art professional products and promotions
• Provides product knowledge
• Delivers technical and business education
• Develops and executes strategies to help our clients grow their business
• Acts as a business partner and resource to our clients to ensure they have access to all the tools needed to ensure the complete satisfaction of each and every one of their customers

Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role the ideal candidate should have knowledge of the hair care and beauty industry and a strong commitment to customer service.

• Minimum one to two years outside sales experience, preferably in the hair care industry or beauty industry
• A documented track record of achieving sales goals
• Outstanding interpersonal skills along with the ability to establish strong relationships with clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable with public speaking
• A willingness to work as part of a team of dynamic and fast paced culture. Must work well in a team environment, working closely with other team members including manufacturer representatives who often ride along with sales representatives
• The ability to manage multiple projects, initiatives and objectives
• The ability to utilize the latest technology as part of the sales process including Microsoft Office and Social Media platforms
• Reliable transportation and a clear driver's record required- territory includes the Oakland/Castro Valley/San Leandro area.

Physical Requirements:

Responsibilities require extensive travel by car in the assigned area 60-70% of work week calling on clients. Schedule is typically Monday through Friday with the occasional mandatory weekend for Sales Events, Education, and Meetings. Required lifting of boxes, promotional materials and products may be up to 25 pounds with some bending, extensive walking and standing during store/ salon visits.
