The Outreach coordinator will work under the Program and Medical Directors of the PA program to strengthen the medical outreach of Touro University Nevada’s Physician Assistant program. This is a grant funded position.
Responsibilities:

1. This person will Coordinate the schedules of all the PA outreach events to include Mobile Health clinics, vaccine events, The Stallman Touro Clinic at The Shade Tree, Volunteers in Medicine clinics, the many health events with our collaborating partners, and future collaborations.


1.1 The coordinating will consist of Time, Units, Dates, Provider, Students and Drivers

1.2 Assist with/coordinate regular data collection activities (e.g., course evaluations, locally developed surveys)

1.3 Develop and maintain databases for a variety of data

1.4 Ensure inventory is ordered and help with stocking supplies and equipment for the MHC and PODs.

1.5 Tracking oversight of those providers doing the outreach to include Faculty and adjuncts

1.6 Assist programs in developing partnerships with collaborating organizations.


  • Provide support for activities related to Program functions (e.g., strategic planning, regional and program accreditation, program review, annual data collection and reporting)

2.1 Provide support for Committees with which the Program is involved (e.g., prepare for and attend meetings, transcribe and distribute minutes)

2.2 Maintain complex calendar of appointments, conferences, and travel, coordinating all details

2.3 Compose and edit letters, memos, e-mails, reports and other correspondence.

2.4 Operate office equipment including but not limited to computer, copier, facsimile, printer, and calculator


3. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Education :

Bachelor’s preferred
High School Diploma or G.E.D Required.

Experience
:

Professions that would be an asset in this position would be:
Social Worker, Health Navigator, Community health worker, Public health
Someone who has attention to detail and can coordinate multiple things at once
Someone who works well with others and networks with others to get the job done.

Skills & Abilities :

Excellent command of English (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, Spanish is a plus
Possess excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy under time-sensitive conditions
Demonstrate an ability to complete tasks as assigned (ability to follow direction/instruction)
Demonstrate ability to be proactive and to work independently as well as with teams
Possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Be punctual and reliable and exhibit professionalism in all ways
Possess a service orientation, commitment to excellence and professional growth
Strong organizational skills
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in work

Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Familiar with Canvas and Qualtrics a plus
Ability to work with a variety of data
Ability to prepare professional documents for a variety of audiences
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to lift 25 pounds
