RCM is looking for a candidate with 5 years of experience programming in Oracle PL/SQL for our insurance client in Puerto Rico.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide solutions and alternatives to situations and problems that arise in production environments regarding the products installed in said environment and that use the client web application.
- Assist all areas of the IT Department in the search for solutions and alternatives related to the application.
- Maintenance and development of new evolutive for the Insurance Lines that are issued on client web application.
- Maintenance and development of new evolutionary related to the renewal processes of the client policy portfolio, including printing processes.
- Maintenance and development of new evolutionary related to claims processes.
- Development and implementation of solutions related to client's strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of programming experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Unix, and JAVA.
- Experience in all stages included in the Development Life Cycle (System Development Life Cycle), such as: requirements gathering, analysis, development, testing and implementation.
- Experience in project management principles
- Knowledge of the insurance business.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), project management and teamwork.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish factors, and reach valid conclusions for problem solving.
- Willing to work under pressure and in compliance with critical dates.
- Ability to learn by oneself, self-management, leadership with training capacity and rapid adaptation to changes.
- Ability to analyze and interpret business publications, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks concurrently and maintaining control at all times of the tasks or projects assigned to you in your workload.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering with minimum of 5 years of experience.
