SUMMARY

Functions as the primary operational and process lead to the Operations Department.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for achieving daily productivity goals related to the manufacturing line.
• Support operators on equipment functionality and troubleshooting.
• Fill in on the production line with operator responsibilities when vacancies exist.
• Coordinating and planning with the Operations crews on scheduling all down day work. Securing all tools and equipment needed for down day work.
• Supporting daily production data entry and ensuring accuracy
• Coordinating with the shift supervisor on all hourly employee vacation. Able to post the weekly schedule as needed.
• Coordinating with the Operations Leader and Shift Leaders on training of all employees, including normal reviews, skills assessments and other training needs.
• Coordinating and scheduling all trash container pickups with waste service contractor.
• Fill in for Shift Leaders as needed.
• Assist in all Operations’ safety efforts and communications.
• Have leadership roles as a TPM AM area owner, while supporting other pillars
• Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Leader.

• Able to present in daily crew meetings
• Must possess strong organizational skills
• Must have the ability to multi-task
• Able to use and read a tape measure
• Must work well in team environment
• Must have the ability to do basic mathematical calculations

COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE COMPENTENCIES

The employee must be able to:

• Log on to company computer system
• Check, create and reply to e-mail
• Use MS systems including Outlook, Excel, Access and Powerpoint

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

The employee should have the following:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee should possess the ability to:

• Ability to routinely lift up to 40 lbs without assistance
• Ability to routinely lift up to 80 lbs with assistance
• Work for 12 hours in extreme hot/cold manufacturing environment
• Walk/stand continuously for up to 12 hours
• Ability to safely bend, twist, and squat
• Routinely ascend and descend stairs and ladders as work area requires
• Adapt to rotating, 12 hour shift work
• Pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and health screen
