Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a KC-46A Flight Line Operations Senior Manager (Level L) to support execution of the Long-Term Test Asset Maintenance Support for the USAF Flight Testing in Edwards AFB, CA. This position serves as the primary on-site POC to USAF 412th Test Wing, 412th Maintenance Group, and 418th Squadron leadership for all KC-46 maintenance issues. This position oversees multiple shifts in mission execution. The successful candidate must develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensures that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and postflight checks, release for flight.

• Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives

• Acquires resources for department activities and leads process improvements

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience with USAF aircraft maintenance programs including tactics, techniques and procedures

• Experience with instructions and policies the USAF uses to execute on aircraft maintenance including Air Force Instructions and Technical Orders

• 5+ years of experience leading and/or managing a flight line environment

• 5+ years of experience supporting USAF programs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience maintaining relationships with senior USAF maintenance leaders

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
