On-Boarding & Training Coordinator Job at New Avenues to Independence
New Avenues is looking for an On-Boarding and Training Coordinator to join our HR Team!!
This position supports all areas of the organization, has primary responsibility for delivering New Avenues’ Onboarding program, and is accountable for identifying training needs and recommending appropriate solutions. This role is accountable for establishing effective and efficient tracking protocols to ensure compliance with training plans and regulatory requirements.

ONBOARDING
1. Coordinate all new employee onboarding processes.
2. Schedule new hires for onboarding. Provide instructions to prepare for onboarding.
3. Conduct new hire onboarding utilizing New Avenue’s virtual onboarding platform.
4. Administer pre-employment tests or screenings, as needed.
5. Collect and file onboarding forms, as needed.
6. Respond to new hire and supervisor questions.
7. Follow up with new hires and supervisors to complete onboarding process, as needed.
TRAINING
1. Coordinate, document, and track training sessions for employees to meet the needs of the agency.
2. Provide training solutions that meet requirements for the certifications, regulatory compliance, and New Avenues Policies and Procedures. This training includes, but is not limited to:
a. New Employee Onboarding utilizing the organization’s automated onboarding program.
b. CPR and First Aid training.
c. CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training.
d. Annual Mandatory Training
e. Departmental specific training
f. Drug Free workplace Training
g. Safety Training
3. Utilizes technology to delivery cost effective and engaging training solutions.
4. Maintains records and systems to track employee training. Provides reports to assess utilization and compliance.
5. Uses adult learning theories, methodologies, and principles to develop, design and deliver instructional content to all levels of the agency for the purpose of staff development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Psychology or related field preferred or minimum of five (5) years’ experience in I/DD field would be considered.
Experience in planning and conducting in-person and virtual Employee Onboarding programs and procuring effective training solutions both for classroom as well as virtual training venues.
Ability to design and present information in classroom and on-site settings, including testing for skill acquisition to facilitate functional learning.
Experience in utilizing learning management tracking processes and systems and ability to maintain and process the necessary paperwork involved with the training and certification of New Avenues employees; ability to learn and utilize computer skills to maintain and track employee training.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
