Dungarvin is a national organization of privately owned companies that are dedicated to providing high quality, community-based supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, people who are faced with mental health, behavioral or significant medical challenges, and to children and their families.

FUN FACT:

Our founders (Husband and wife duo) Tim and Diane Madden opened the first Dungarvin program, an ICF/MR serving 15 people, in St. Paul, Minnesota, in March 1976. Tim and Diane were the live-in “houseparent’s” for that first program. Through the success of that program Dungarvin has grown to employ approximately 5,000 people who currently provide supports to over 5,000 individuals across 15 states.


Job Description


The Office Coordinator is to work cooperatively with office staff in expediting the general flow of matters pertaining to the office, including but not limited to reception, typing, general office/clerical duties, data entry, and administrative projects. May perform other related responsibilities depending on the size of office and other supports available (e.g., computer support and IS, etc.).

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Manage office administrative functions
  • Act as an organizational resource
  • Telephone coverage
  • Maintain office paperwork
  • Oversee office equipment and supplies
  • Organize meetings and events
  • Monitor individual served service and demographic information electronically through Therap

Qualifications


WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Prior clerical experience is preferred, but not required.
  • The Office Coordinator will be expected to act in a professional manner and maintain confidentiality in all business-related decisions.
  • Must have the ability to process information with rapidness and accuracy, be highly organized, possess good time management and decision-making skills.
  • Other necessary abilities include confidence, flexibility, self-directedness, ability to maturely deal with unexpected demands and incidents, and willingness to initiate improvement and expansion of existing systems.
