Office Assistant/Data Entry Clerk Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible individual with excellent communication and critical thinking skills whose priority is the quality of their work. In this in-person, full-time position, the office assistant/data entry clerk will perform clerical tasks, assist other staff members, complete data entry by both typing and scanning information, assist donors, and lift and move boxes of files, supplies, and merchandise.

Office Assistant/Data Entry Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
· Protect confidential and private information and identities of families served, donors, etc.
· Respond to and fully satisfy donor inquiries
· Enter data accurately into appropriate fields; databases, records, and files
· Transfer data from paper formats via computers and scanners
· Handle numerical data accurately; create, organize, and maintain spreadsheets
· Assist in the preparation of reports, meetings, presentations, data, and mailings
· Receive, unpack, and store or distribute incoming deliveries and prepare and send outgoing shipments
· Prepare, log, move, and store or send to off-site storage boxes of files and records
· Type documents and letters as needed
· Perform clerical duties, assist the office staff, photocopy, scan, etc. as needed

Office Assistant/Data Entry Clerk Requirements and Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Prior experience in handling office and data entry responsibilities and customer service or related fields
· Accurate and precise attention to detail
· Ability to prioritize quality of work
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent critical thinking skills
· Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize tasks
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
· Willingness to learn and to grow with the organization
· Eager to assist team members
· Accurate and fast typist
· Understands data confidentiality principles and follows them to the letter
· In-person weekday office hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
