The Best Rentals is seeking an experienced Office Assistant with a can-do attitude to be a part of a fast-paced, rapidly growing team. You will perform a number of different administrative and office support duties in this position including dispatching maintenance technicians. Do you embrace a fast-paced environment where you are handling multiple tasks throughout the day? In this position, you will be able to wear a lot of hats impacting many in the company. Days will be full, exciting, and challenging. Our office is located on Folly Beach, South Carolina.

How you will make an impact

  • Provide direction and logistics for staff members
  • Organize multiple actions on a daily basis
  • Use the internet to search for vendors and solutions
  • Handle telephone calls
  • Greet and instruct visitors
  • Support a variety of projects for other employees
  • Manage work orders
  • Manage inventory
  • Arrange ordering of parts
  • Pick up and deliver items
  • Report as necessary to the management team and owners

Requirements

  • Ability to handle multiple issues at once while prioritizing urgency
  • Familiarity with using the internet for research tasks
  • Deep understanding of office administration
  • Calendar management experience desired
  • Candidate must have substantial computer experience including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation and database software, excel, and customer database systems
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
  • Strong communication and social skills
  • A high degree of common sense
  • Must be able to push/pull/lift 25lbs
  • A stable work history
  • A high desire to complete tasks and common sense
  • Atleast one year of previous administrative, maintenance and dispatching experience is preferred
  • Weekend work is required
