The Off-Site Facilities Coordinator provides general maintenance and facilities coordination for all SRAlab off site facilities repairs including basic Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, General carpentry equipment as well as moves furniture and other related duties.


  • Responsible for maintaining preventative maintenance logs and documentation for safety inspections and surveys for all assigned off site locations
  • Properly triage and execute work order request and respond to customers timely status updates
  • Resolution for emergencies, serves as member of the Off-Site Incident Command Team. Assist in conducting required fire drills and provides fire safety training.
  • Inspects fire extinguishers monthly and performs weekly safety inspections for fire, life safety, and occupant comfort.
  • On-site contact for fire inspections, town, and vendor inspections.
  • Responds to emergencies and ensures fire & life safety.
  • Repair and install facility items such as flooring, ceiling tiles, doors, wall patching, door trimming/molding, partitions. Install shelving, cabinetry, and doors.
  • Responsible for performing several maintenance duties related to plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Change filters, belts, and performs minor HVAC related repairs.
  • Remotely monitors Building HVAC systems
  • Assembles furniture, equipment, and performs basic lock services.
  • Performs minor floor tile and carpet installation and repairs
  • Enters and completes work assignments via computerized work order management system with department guidelines and requirements
  • Perform all preventative maintenance and complete corrective work orders within department standards and set deadlines.
  • Coordinates the work of all outside related facility outside contractors to ensure they have the necessary support to perform high quality and safe services to SRAlab.
  • Provides set-up for special events and transport, moves, and removes boxes furniture. Oversees grounds keeping and snow removal for selected sites.
  • Responsible for safe and orderly maintenance of department inventory, tools, and supplies in the assigned trucks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Basic requirements for PC skills, use of iPads, and emails.


Required Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in maintenance role required. Healthcare maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience in basic mechanical repairs and knowledge of pumps and valves and necessary familiarity with hospital policies and procedures, different types of machines and equipment routinely repaired and safety precautions. Must have the ability to use tools required by duties.
  • Basic working knowledge of mechanics, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, OSHA regulations, and building codes.
  • Valid driver’s license with good-standing driving record.
  • Excellent customer service skills, able to communicate effectively with various types of individuals. Requires interpersonal skills sufficient to maintain effective communication with employees, contractors and patients.
  • Must have basic computer skills and experience in using Microsoft products, email and computerized maintenance management systems
  • Self-starter that needs minimal oversight.
  • One or more certifications in a related area required (i.e., carpentry, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, and refrigeration, OSHA 10 Hour, ASHE Environmental Working).

  • Able to work between 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. some holidays, weekends, and availability during off-hour emergencies if needed at least by phone
  • Ability to perform the following for extended periods of time: standing, walking, lifting, etc.
  • Ability to climb ladders and dead lift a minimum of 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in temperatures below 32°F and above 90°F.
  • Candidates must have own hand tools.
