Nurse Extern Job at Broward Health Medical Center
Pool Position will work as needed. Varied Hours per pay period. 7:00am-7:00pm. Varied Weekends. Enrollment in a BSN program and completion of at least the third year of the program. Or enrollment in Associate program with completion of at least one year of the nursing curriculum. Eligible for RN licensure at the completion of the BSN/Associate Nursing Program OR completed registration for NCLEX testing. Current BLS card from American Heart Association required. One year clinical experience as Nursing Assistant in a health care setting is preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills mandatory. Under the direction of an R.N., the Nurse Extern provides patient focused care such as phlebotomy, EKG and basic nursing skills, etc. to facilitate quality service outcomes.
