NFAR Works Vocational Instructional Assistant
NFAR is seeking a Vocational Instructional Assistant to join our team! Are you an energic, engaging person who is interested in making a difference in our community? Then we want you!
The NFAR Works program provides job training for young adults with autism and combines hard and soft skills training needed for entry level positions across a variety of industries.
Experience
- Prior experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is required.
Job Description
The NFAR Works Assistant will be responsible for:
- Serving as a role model for work behavior and positive attitude
- Providing direct instruction to program participants
- Document daily activities and track progress
- Helping with enhancement of program materials and instructional supports
- Providing support and encouragement to program participants
Location: NFAR Vocational Training Center, Scripps Ranch, San Diego
Position is Full Time (40 hrs/wk), or part time if needed (20-25 hrs/wk).
Full time benefits include employee medical, dental, paid holidays, vacation time and sick pay
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
