• Performs security assessment and best practices of all networks and external connections.
• Adheres to change control procedures when implementing changes to production environments.
• Reviews and assess user needs; makes recommendations for resources required to maintain and/or expand service levels.
• Develops documentation, including diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures, and works instructions.
• Performs after hours support duties to sustain production systems and service levels as needed.
• Writes and maintains policies, procedures, test/assessment results and other types of documentation as required.
• Partners with stakeholders and Business Analyst across the organization to resolve issues, provides technical feedback, and to contributes to the overall security and design of the production environments.
• Manages enterprise networks and their associated components including: Cisco switches, routers, WIFI and SDWAN, Palo Alto firewalls, security appliances and VPN Tunnels.
• Manages enterprise systems and infrastructure including: Azure Active Directory, Active Directory Domain controllers, VMware, SAN and DR/Backups.

Here is what we are looking for:

• Advanced Certifications related to Network Engineering/Technology or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology

o. Cisco CCNA or CCIE Certificates, VMWare and Microsoft certifications are desirable as well.

• Experience in the following required: Enterprise Route/Switch and Firewall technology, SDWAN and MPLS, User and External VPNs, Azure AD, Office 365, Security & Compliance Policies, system security hardening, Microsoft servers, Internal and external DNS.
• 5 years equivalent work experience in a technical position with broad hands-on knowledge of IT infrastructure, and networking. Has hands on experience in implementing enterprise routing, switching and firewalling across multiple locations utilizing SDWAN, MPLS, VPN and Point2Point technologies
