.Net Production Support Job at Cognizant Technology Solutions
Cognizant is looking for a .Net Production Support specialist. This is Day 1 Onsite in Phoenix, AZ work from office role. No remote or Hybrid.
Requirements and Skills
At least 5 years of experience in production support, design, development, testing, deployment of applications using MS SQL Server, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, JQuery, AJAX, XML, NET WebForms, Entity Framework & Stored Procedures
Good knowledge on the Microsoft platform with expertise on .Net frameworks(4.0, 5.0) & .Net core.
Support Experience using ITSM Support tools Management like ServiceNow, or Service Cloud for tickets/Incident
Familiarity/experience in ITIL concepts, processes and fundamentals
Ready to work in Production Support and Maintenance Projects, Regular Support Activities - Ticket monitoring, Application monitoring, Incident Resolution, Request handling, etc.
Prior experience with Confluence and Control-M jobs.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products.
Experience with end-user interactions in Teams and perform screenshare to assist with application related problems.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Good understanding of Customer Support metrics and SLAs
Attention to detail
Key Role Responsibilities
Perform research and analysis and resolve the issues.
Supports creation and management of incident handling process in ServiceNow in adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) being met.
Trouble shoot production issues, review logs (server, application & db)
prepare and process documents, and address issues and concerns, resolving them promptly and efficiently.
Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
Develop documentation for the tickets handled.
Participate in on call routines for performing data loads and routine job runs
Ability to be flexible and work under tight deadlines
Must have experience working in production support processes.
Able to handle incoming escalations.

Salary and Other Compensation :
The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
