Are you an experienced, motivated Salesperson with a strong track record, looking for a life-changing and rewarding career opportunity? We’re looking for a professional, someone capable of taking over established accounts and growing market share by developing successful, long-term relationships with assigned customer accounts in addition to prospecting new ones. We recently moved to our new property in Edgewater Park, and our network continues to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new customers using all reasonable methods, primarily making in-person calls to businesses outside the dealership
- Study specs to gain, maintain and improve knowledge of vehicle performance and application
- Assist customers in the selection of vehicles based on their business needs
- Partner with customers through the entire purchasing experience, obtaining accurate/complete financial data and securing deposits
- Prepare and processing sales orders and purchaser statements to close deals
- Attend required factory-sponsored, regional/national training sessions and trade shows
- Successfully complete the certification process as provided by the vehicle manufacturers
- Conduct vehicle appraisals as necessary
- Understand and comply with Federal, State and local regulations related to industry sales
- Sell vehicles according to established profit/unit count objectives as established with Branch Manager
- Provide outstanding, ongoing and follow-up service to existing customers
- Assist walk-in/call-in customers when in the office
- Demonstrate vehicles features/amenities, to include test drives
- Deliver vehicles, knowledgeably explaining warranties and service contract policies
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will be or possess:
- Solid track record of successful municipal or B2B sales (truck experience not required), including prospecting, relationship building and closing
- Willingness and ability to travel as necessary
- Strong listening skills and a willingness and ability to provide excellent customer service
- Outgoing, diligent, and attentive
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding time management and organizational
- Ability to respond appropriately to rejection
- Excellent, effective and professional verbal, written and interpersonal communication sills
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Professional in both appearance and demeanor
- Valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation
- If no CDL, willingness and ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire (assistance provided to the right candidate)
- Ability to work effectively in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred candidates will also be or possess:
- Familiarity with Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Cumberland, Cape May, Atlantic, Ocean, Mercer, and Salem counties, as well as surrounding areas
- Sales experience in the area of Class 8 trucks and trailers
- Mechanically minded and able to effectively communicate technical information to the customer
- Current CDL in good standing
