Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto is hiring an Assistant General Manager (AGM) for Morimoto Maui, an upscale casual concept in the Morimoto portfolio, specializing in high-end Japanese fare and artful cocktails. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing global company.

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) helps the general manager to ensure that day-to-day business operations run smoothly. The assistant general manager will draw up weekly schedules, order beverages, conduct beverage inventory, and assist the general manager with training, recruiting, promotions and planning.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Cooperating with the general manager, and assisting with anything from project planning to staff management.
• Nurturing positive working relationships with staff.
• Supervising staff and controlling flow of the restaurant as well as managing the floor.
• Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
• Beverage program, including but not limited to beverage inventory, beverage ordering, and vendor relationships

Requirements:

• Must have beverage knowledge
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• An ability to deliver constructive criticism.
• Computer literate and basic Math skills.
• An ability to identify weaknesses and provide coaching where necessary.
