Midstate offers a whole array of services including; Asphalt Milling, Asphalt Reclaiming, Cold-in-Place Recycling, Soil Stabilization and Heavy Haul Trucking Services. Position Overview:

Operate an asphalt mill consistent with Midstate’s policies and procedures in a safe, professional and accurate manner. Communicating activities between customers, Supervisors and other Midstate departments with maximum effectiveness.

Job Description

Job Purpose: Perform assigned tasks to achieve Safe and Profitable results while meeting objectives of Midstate as well as our customer needs.

Duties:

• Strong mechanical aptitude of assigned Midstate equipment. Ability to communicate repair needs as well as handle required repaired.

• Strong attention to detail, following direction to achieve profitable results.

• Report daily productivity, hours worked for Payroll, IFTA, and Daily Logs. You may be required to fill out other paper work including project specific documents and incident reports.

• Responsible for getting receipts and hours turned into Foreman.

• Promote strong commitment to safety exceeding Midstate expectations.

• Get Equipment on and off line in an efficient manor, following Foreman’s direction.

• Monitoring equipment outputs.

• Promote outstanding customer service consistent Midstate’s directives.

• Basic understanding Midstate’s corporate structure, and values.

Other Duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time Seasonal

Required license or certification:

• Class A or B CDL with Tanker Endorsement (Still apply if willing to obtain)

Requirements:

• Strong Organizational Skills
• Ability to be away from home for two to three weeks at a time. (90% of our workload is outside of the metro Minneapolis area.)
• Ability to work long hours to get the job done in a timely matter.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
