OUTPATIENT SPECIALTY PRACTICE SEEKING MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST/SECRETARY
- Must have at least 2 years experience as a Medical Receptionist/ Appointment Scheduler, fluent in insurance prior-authorization, preferably in a specialty practice.
- Must have prior EMR experience.
- Must possess thorough knowledge of insurance benefits, referrals, authorizations, HMO's, PPO's, Medicare Replacement Plans, etc.
- Must be proficient in computer skills.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must enjoy fast paced environment.
- Must be a Team player with strong work ethic.
- Hours are M-F 8:30-5:00 p.m..
- Excellent benefits.
- Office locations are both Chesapeake and Suffolk.
- Post High School education required.
- Only qualified applicants with certification will be considered.
- Will require reference check prior to hiring.
