We are seeking a full-time Medical Coding Specialist to evaluate patients' medical information and input it into electronic health records and databases based on a procedure coding system. They may also facilitate communications between clinical care providers and medical billing offices.

We require:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a coding program ICD-10 recognized by the American Health Information Management Association essential
• Demonstrated skill in ICD-10-CM and PCS coding conventions, UHDDS abstractions requirements and NYS & TJC record documentation are vital.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical coding experience a must
• Must pass Coding Competency Test and basic data entry skills test
• CCS required. Comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10 classification systems, and Anatomy and Physiology

Annual salary: $56,623 – $57,667
