Job Overview
A medical assistant will assist directly with patient care. You will provide support to the physician(s) and other team members in an outpatient clinic setting. You will collaborate with providers and members of the clinical team to provide high-quality patient care.
Job Requirements
-High School Diploma or GED
-Experienced with hands-on patient care
-Ability to navigate a computer/laptop well
-Flu Vaccine
-Covid-19 Vaccine
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Weekend availability
Job Responsibilities
-Monitor patient flow and physician schedules
-Collect vital signs, height, weight, and information for patient visit
-Update electronic medical records
-Administer vaccines, injections, and medications under the direction of a physician
-Perform EKGs and Spirometry tests under the direction of a physician
-Return patient phone calls in a timely manner
-Prepare, clean, and stock patient exam rooms
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
