Medical office looking for the right person to join our team.

The position we are looking to fill requires a person with excellent customer service, attention to detail, with positive attitude. Previous experience in a medical office preferred. Orthopedic or Podiatry experience a plus

Our new team member should also be self motivated, flexible, dependable, and detail oriented. Able to work independently or with the team, and able to motivate others.

Open to traveling to Hurst, Argyle, Southlake, Keller or Flower mound if needed for coverage.

The position hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm M-F.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

prepping exam rooms

Taking patients back

Scribe for provider

Customer Service face to face and over the phone

Follow provider documenting visit with the patient into the EMR.

Front office duties

Checking patients in

Taking patient charts back to providers

Calling on referrals

Authorizations for upcoming appointments

Send orders and prescriptions

Rooming patients and fitting with supplies

Pre-Certing supplies

Prepping for the upcoming appointments (get results for tests done or notes to prepare for appointment)

Data entry

Verifying insurance

Answering multiple phone lines

Setting appointments

Training in all areas of the clinic to cover as needed

Overall great attitude and team spirit
