The Media Supply Chain of our Digital Solutions BU at Diversified works with traditional media & entertainment organizations and corporate entities to optimize their workflow, building solutions around: rights management, scheduling, content centralization & asset metadata management, content processing and delivery, content mastering, storage, localization, and archive/preservation, 3rd-party custom software integration, cloud integration, and automation enabling our clients to manage and distribute content globally operationally.
As a Media Supply Chain Solutions Architect, you will design and modernize media workflow solutions for customers in the media, corporate, sports, and live events space using modern design methodologies and product solutions. You are a highly organized, creative, process-oriented engineer with a deep working knowledge of production media workflow techniques inside a wide array of products in the marketplace and use-case best practices. You will find and implement creative solutions using any combination of hybrid, on-prem, and Cloud Infrastructure.

Where will you be contributing?
- Specify, design, deploy, and service media supply chain platforms, including media asset management software platforms, shared editorial and object storage, post-production systems, archive (multi-tiered tape, disk, cloud), transcoding, workflow orchestration, and automation, and networking solutions.
- Translate customer-stated use cases and operational requirements into narrative overviews, concept flows, and relevant matrix-based documentation items using BPMN or UML notation styles.
- Define the architectural infrastructure, equipment, and project implementation resources required to meet the deliverables needed for the RFPs, proposals, and consulting efforts.
- Collaborate with the Sales/Account Executives to help conceptualize the media supply chain solutions for the customers.
- Deliver quality consulting engagements, proposal efforts, site surveys, sales support efforts, and project team meetings as technology and project planning resources under the direction of MSC and Digital Solutions Leadership.
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience desired
- Preferred: AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Architect/Cloud Practitioner, Avid ACSR (Storage, Media Central - any, Media Composer), Quantum StorNext, VMWare – any
- Technical proficiency in macOS, Windows (Desktop & Server), and leading Linux distros. MS Office Suite, MS Project, AutoCAD, Visio, Omnigraffle, Powerpoint, and standard desktop conferencing and presentation desktop tools
- Must have intimate and practical knowledge of live television production, post-production, and file-based media workflows and the software/hardware/hybrid platforms and products used in enabling such workflows – including MAM, Storage, Archive, Transcode, Post platforms
- Trained and certified in many of the following platforms: high-performance shared storage (SAN, NAS, object storage, cloud/remote), transcoding (Vantage, Elemental), MAMs (Iconik, CatDV, Dalet Flex, Avid MediaCentral/Interplay), editorial platforms (Avid, Adobe), cloud hybrid workflow, remote workflow (Teradici) and virtualization platforms (VMWare ESXi)
- Confident with vendor and manufacturer communications, including RFQ technology, pricing, and terms discussions
- Will be a self-starter, exceptional communicator, collaborative, and client-driven
- Flexibility to travel to client sites
