The Mechanical Assembler will assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.

Essential Job Duties:

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler at our Madison, KS facility.

• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

Benefits & Compensation:

• Starting pay rate $16.00
• Health benefits, 401k and Paid Holidays
• $2,000 Bonus - after 90 days of successful employment

All job offers are contingent upon post-hire requirements: successful background check, drug screen/physical, and completion of required paperwork

Required Skills

• Requires standing and kneeling up to 10 hours per day
• Repetitive use of both hands up to 10 hours per day
• Basic computer skills required
• Experience in industrial assembly preferred
• Constant awareness of surroundings
• Requires pushing/pulling/lifting (up to 40 lbs)
