In today’s healthcare environment, the role of the MDS Nurse is more integral than ever. The MDS is a powerful tool used to drive better resident care, improve outcomes, and capture the appropriate level of clinical reimbursement. You can be the driver of this tool by becoming an MDS professional.
The MDS in Training program is a 3-6 month paid internship program (length of training is based on prior SNF experience).
Training will involve onsite mentoring and session of formalized classwork.
Upon completion of program the goal is to place candidates as MDS staff in IDT Leadership roles in the Phoenix Metro and surrounding areas.
Required Experience:
LPN or RN license in state of AZ
Skilled Nursing experience preferred, but not required
Possess strong observation/ assessment and documentation skills
A desire to learn, grow and lead within the Interdisciplinary Team in a Skilled Nursing setting

Pay: TBD based on type of licensure and level of prior experience
