Material Handler Job at KALAS MFG INC
Essential Functions:
- Obtain forklift certification.
- Assures all machines are supplied with copper and ensuring no production downtime.
- Transports in-process material.
- Loads and unloads interplant truck and receives materials from common carriers.
- Restores all received materials to stock areas, receives and ships material for UPS, and occasionally prepares other material for shipment.
- Maintains stock in an orderly fashion.
- Removes and replaces scrap boxes.
- Completes paperwork.
- Aware of Kalas’ environmental policy and what it means to them.
- Aware of their significant environmental aspects and knows how to mitigate or eliminate the environmental impacts associated with them.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Additional overtime may be required.
- Meets attendance requirements as stated in associate handbook.
- Observes all company housekeeping and safety rules.
- Does cycle counting and makes adjustments to the MRP system.
