Role Responsibilities:

• Verifies equipment including but not limited to proper settings, and speeds, cycle times, and other controls are in conformance to specification by using established standards.
• Operates overhead hoists, forklifts and hand jacks. Loads and unloads various types of containers, which include but are not limited to nylon powder bags, barrels, bins, and bulk packs. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves. Operates fork lifts and hand jacks, to move convey materials.
• Utilizes data to determine conforming product. Analyzes and monitors scrap and nonconforming parts to aid in determining cause of failure.
• Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination. Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, operates industrial forklift and or electric hoist in loading or moving materials and products.
• Maintains work areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Stores articles in bins, on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size of type of material.
• Assists all plant departments with delivering/moving various materials on as needed basis.
• Assembles various types of containers, which include but are not limited to boxes and crates.
• Monitors and changes filters for grinding sludge, removes sludge from building to outside dumpsters, with the assistance of one other person. Changes used filter media on a as needed basis, replacing with fresh media.
• Maintains work areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Ability to read interprets, and follow all safety rules and regulations while perform operations.
• Must meet requirements for Forklift operation and receive certification.
• Overtime is required as posted weekly, and may be mandated for this position.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/management.
