Job Overview:

The marketing specialist is responsible for all written marketing content and the success of the written marketing campaigns across the Outlaw Group’s brand portfolio. Success is determined by strength of message, clarity, and measurable improvements in SEO. The marketing specialist will identify content needs, generate content ideas, and ensure the successful creation of written content either through personally generating or overseeing content generation by members of the sales and marketing departments. This content may be website evergreen content, blog content, newsletters, or ads for AVA Rafting & Zipline, Peak 1 Express, Breckenridge Ski & Sport, MileMarker Van Rentals and all other Outlaw brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide timely written content across all Outlaw company assets like our websites, referral network, advertisements, blogs, newsletters, etc.
• Support blog program across company portfolio, which includes:

• Topic Ideation
• Coordinating with an in-house team of writers
• Content writing
• Ensure best practices set forth by the SEO Department
• Publish according to content calendar

• Write and support newsletters across the Outlaw company portfolio

• Topic Ideation
• Content writing
• Publish according to content calendar

• Maintain consistent copy across our referral network for all companies, this includes:

• Maintaining and updating copy across all sites through backend management portals,
• Update promotional campaigns
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure brand consistency across the entire network

• Support digital ad campaigns with relevant and timely copy
• Support and assist on various Marketing Department projects like special events, creative ad campaigns, etc.

Qualifications:

Mandatory

• Strong Portfolio of Written Content Showcasing Grammatical Competency, Punctuation, and Creativity
• Strong Attention to Detail
• Ability to Multitask in a Fast Paced Work Environment
• Strong Organizational and Communication Skills

Preferred

• Marketing-related experience with a relatable company or agency
• Experience managing a blog or working with a team of writers
• Newsletter management
• Familiarity with Google Ad campaign building & management
• Familiarity with WordPress and/or similar website CMS systems
• Experience using email marketing platforms
