You are:
You will be the first marketer on the Edge AI team. You are a strong generalist who can build the foundation for our marketing function, working closely with the CEO and sales. You thrive in a fast paced environment and are comfortable taking on diverse responsibilities while forging new directions.
You understand a B2B customer journey – bonus if you’ve marketed to government or contractor audiences before. You can manage multiple projects and vendors with ease, adapt to various roles, and are eager to gain a deeper understanding of our customers. Your success will accelerate sales traction, build Edge AI brand, and establish marketing infrastructure for the company.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Develop, coordinate and manage all customer-facing marketing communication and material, including sales collateral and customer testimonials
- Assess and manage third party partners to execute digital and brand strategy, including web, SEO, paid and creative as needed
- Manage company social media channels and create content to engage relevant audiences
- Establish g value proposition, positioning, ideal customer profiles and buyer personas
- Plan and organize industry trade show, including developing and executing marketing material creation and communications for events like pre- and post-event social posts
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns
- Create budget and recommendations for new marketing opportunities to leadership, including marketing technology
- Measure and report engagement and performance of marketing programs
- Maintain sales collateral repository and update sales team with the latest product information and marketing materials
Tools and Experience for success:
- 5+ years of professional marketing experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; a proficient writer who is comfortable writing, publishing, and measuring content such as blog and social posts, website copy, and customer facing materials
- Experience successfully evaluating and managing third party vendors
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
- Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, SalesForce
- Professional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, complex projects
- Ability to travel to represent the company at industry events and visit customers
- Must be available to work from our Pittsburgh office, fully remote accommodations not available for this position
If you have these, it would be even better:
- Experience marketing to government, municipalities, contractors or engineering services
- Experience building a marketing function for an early stage product or in a startup environment

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
