Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator (Hotel) is a key contributor to the success of the dynamic marketing + PR campaigns for the Harwood’s first Hotel. As a strategic thinker, collaborator, and connector, you will work closely with the Marketing + PR team along with key hotel leaders.
The primary focuses of your role will be to ensure that all marketing + PR activities, initiatives, and campaigns are strategic to drive hotel, restaurants and catering ROI stay up to date, on-brand, and are thoroughly prepared to launch on-time.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the brand’s campaign and event calendar to drive the largest revenue impact
- Coordinate media plans and coordinating paid ad placements
- Ensure brand standards are met and information updated across all platforms including social media, graphic design, websites, and third-party listings
- Work with hotel operations to ensure campaigns and initiatives are set up to track
- Assist in building a robust influencer program and maintaining digital partnerships
- Coordinate with outside agencies for ad buys, graphic design, and organic social media initiatives
- Brand management activities such as monitoring and implementing any changes to brand operations.
- Scheduling meetings and workshops as needed
- Coordinating and help plan Marketing + PR campaign assets including photography, videography, graphic design, and copywriting
- Collaborate on integrated marketing plans to ensure all objectives and/or initiatives are carried out.
- Assist in the preparation, coordination, production, supervision and follow-up of promotions and events with HI and HHG Marketing.
Required Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications with at least 1 year of experience within Luxury and/or Hospitality industries.
- Must have extensive knowledge of computers and document management software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Squarespace, CRM, Aloha, Humm, OpenTable, Google Drive.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and developing relationships in a fast-paced and highly goal-oriented organization.
- Ability to start and complete new and multiple projects in a timely and efficient manner.
- Boundless creativity with an eye for trendsetting design and style
- Flexible availability to work during peak hospitality seasons and/or hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays.
