We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about social media to join our marketing team as a Marketing Assistant – specializing in social media. In this role, the assistant will help develop and execute relevant social media campaigns and create shareable content and deliverables to support greater brand awareness and engagement. The assistant needs to understand the social media sphere, both the big-name platforms and developing niches, to be able to craft captivating, interesting, and timely content to effect viral engagement. The position is on campus, works 10-20 hours a week and ACA variable. Social Media, Photography, Videography
Responsibilities:
- Help develop social media plans and campaigns
- Help execute ongoing and approved campaigns according to brand guidelines
- Help create new shareable memes, content, and engagement opportunities
- Help create video content for social media and marketing purposes
- Assist and/or conduct photo shoots
- Digitally edit photos as needed
- Maintain photo files for marketing purposes
- Reply to customers and public figures through brand accounts
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in marketing, graphic design, photography, or relevant field
- Portfolio of successful social media content
- Demonstrable personal presence on various social media platforms
- Ability to problem solve
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to respond to difficult online situations in professional manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Adobe Suite

Advertised Salary: Wage commensurate with experience ADA:
Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.
