Position Overview
The Market Access Operations Senior Manager will be responsible for planning and implementing cross-functional initiatives to support the Market Access Screening team, and in particular, the Payer Gap Closure Program. This role acts as primary liaison between the Market Access team, commercial operations, and other commercial and non-commercial functions to provide project management support and operations support.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Build and maintain relationships with key Market Access and commercial stakeholders.
- Define tasks and required resources necessary to complete projects and initiatives in a skillful manner.
- Monitor and report on progress of project deliverables to leadership.
- Identifies risks and opportunities; address and escalate, as needed.
- Consult with commercial and non-commercial key stakeholders to develop proposals; including, but not limited to, determining goals, timeline, and funding and allotment of resources for implementing initiatives.
- Allocate project resources effectively.
- Lead cross-functional teams directly and/or indirectly to deliver solutions while managing scope, risks, timeline, resources, and project deliverables.
- Work with key stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities to define requirements for new or updated processes and to drive effective change.
- Communicate and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders regarding Market Access metrics.
- Coordinate the planning and execution of payer national and regional conferences.
- Apply effective written and oral communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to effectively influence cross-functional partners at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to balance cost, quality, and schedule constraints while escalating issues, as needed.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple competing priorities within and across multiple initiatives at the same time.

- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
- Ability to travel 20% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
- 8+ years of experience in professional role in the life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
- 5+ years of project management experience with demonstrated knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as PowerPoint and Excel.
- Basic computer skills to include Internet navigation, email usage, and word processing.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of a PMI Project Management certification and/or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Experience working in a matrix management organization with primary responsibility for success while relying on a team of resources which may or may not be direct reports.
- Demonstrated experience in risk management, change management, and strategic planning.

Salary Range:
$125,000.00 - $201,000.00
The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms, conditions, and eligibility requirements of the applicable plans.
