Seeking a Certified Mercury Marine/Mercruiser Technician
Kitsap Marina. A 40 year Sales and Service Facility in Port Orchard, Wa. is seeking an experienced, currently CERTIFIED Mercruiser stemdrive and Mercury outboard technician.
This is a full time position working from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday year round. Paid holidays included New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Paid vacation available excluding May through August.
Requirements include certifications from Mercury for current training classes attended. Letter of recommendation encouraged. Additional training is available on a yearly basis at the expense of Kitsap Marina. The applicant must be able to cross into Canada for technical training. Fork lift certification, clean driving record and work history is mandatory.
Applicant must possess required marine repair tools, hand tools, diagnostic tools, power and air tools as well as a tool storage box. Specific special manufacturer tools are in house and the property of Kitsap Marina.

Mindful and efficient mechanical repair. Electrical system repair and installation. Plumbing relating to bilge, live well and wash down pumps. Fuel system.repair. Working knowledge ofNEMA networks and electronic controls. Must be neat, clean, organized, articulate and be able to spell. Computer entry of all parts, labor and documentation is required. Familiarity with diesel forklifts, boat launching and haul out. Working knowledge of trailer repair including, brakes, hubs, and actuators. Be communicative, receptive to helping others and undergo random drug testing. Non smoking. Willing to work on shop projects or property management as time is available, possess a Wa. State boating safety card and a current Wa. State driver's license.
Pay is $25.00 to $30.00 an hour; D.O.E. and certifications.
