Summary

The Manager, Inside Sales is responsible for strengthening relationships and increasing revenue within ConvergeOne’ s existing customer base by supporting a team of Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) that provide quoting and ordering assistance to the field Sellers. This position ensures strategic, solution-based selling, offering ConvergeOne’s entire portfolio of applications while leading a team of approx. ten Inside Sales Representatives.

Responsibilities:

Measures of Success Generally Include:

  • Collaborates with Regional Vice President (RVP), Area Sales Leader (ASL), Director of Sales Operations (DSO), fellow Inside Sales Representative Managers (ISR Mgr.), Sales Support Representative Mgrs. (SSR Mgr.), and other internal Directors and Managers to ensure that monthly revenue and booking forecast is a priority for the team reporting to them.
  • Coaches and manages their team members from initial sales opportunity, quoting, and preparing orders packages for booking utilizing ConvergeOne’s policies and procedures to ensure accuracy.
  • Establishes and maintains an ongoing rapport with external customers and internal departments.
  • Provides excellent Customer Service by responding promptly to information requests, troubleshooting account issues, or order management issues.
  • Interacts with existing customers, primarily by phone and email, generate sales quotations, and place sales orders as needed to support their team members.
  • Completes customer order management, including, working within the CRM system, preparing customer order for placement by providing an accurate order package to colleagues utilizing the order checklist, corresponding with DSO, Sales Director (SD), National Account Manager (NAM), SSR Mgr, Procurement, and others inside ConvergeOne as needed to ensure order is booked and questions are answered.
  • Ensures their team members are maximizing deal profitability by leveraging OEM programs and promotions
  • Supports their team by working with other ConvergeOne leaders to provide training as needed on various topics to ensure their team members have the knowledge and skills to continue to execute ConvergeOne’s strategic initiatives.
  • Assists with and provides NAM Onboard training for new hires
  • Keeps well informed on industry changes, participates where possible in organizations directly involved with our prime markets, and continually works to improve sales knowledge
  • Keeps current on company policies, procedures, and objectives, clarifying them with Manager when and if questions arise, and is always prepared to accurately discuss these policies to our customers and team members.

Essential Functions

  • Operates during end of month, end of quarter, end of year for ConvergeOne’s strategic manufacturers as needed to ensure all orders are processed promptly.
  • Backs up and assists other Mgrs. or team members when order queue is high or as needed for vacation coverage
  • Attends internal and external training classes to ensure technical expertise on products and solutions and order process continues to grow
  • Works with Director and Sales Operations on task forces and internal projects as requested and when appropriate.
  • Looks for process improvements and brings those ideas forward as appropriate to their Manager.
  • Works towards making internal and external customers raving fans of themselves and of ConvergeOne

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a business-related subject
  • 1+ years’ sales/business experience in leadership role
  • Skills and passion to lead a team and encourage them to grow
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume, challenging environment
  • Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy, operates with urgency
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to absorb technical information and execute
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills
  • Proficient in in 3rd party manufacturer tools, business processes and sales engagement models


Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Offshore systems and processes
  • Offshoring with experience analyzing, implementing, managing, and optimizing all aspects of transactional opportunities.

Pay Range
$52,000 - $80,000
Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to
base pay.
