Job Summary:
The Manager, Delivery Enablement manages, guides and trains I-CAR’s network of instructors and assessors who deliver I-CAR curriculum and In-Shop Knowledge assessments. Develops, communicates and reinforces implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), policies, process changes and best practices. Coaches, resolves concerns and serves as a link between the instructors and assessors, Business Development Principles, and Management. Knowledgeable in I-CAR curriculum, delivery methods, and industry relations. Oversees the effective delivery of curriculum, ensuring delivery excellence and sustainable growth of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Drive adherence to goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with I-CAR’s initiatives and vision and communicate them to instructors and assessors. Shares communication from employees with Management.
  • Identify need, recruit, onboard and train new instructors.
  • Participate in Instructor Qualification Onboarding Workshop (IQW) Program.
  • Manage Instructor/Assessor resources to ensure proper adherence to company policies, SOPs, and company process, addressing performance issues as they arise
  • Create delivery SOPs as necessary, communicate, and ensure that instructors and assessors understand their duties or delegated tasks.
  • Monitor, observe, and support instructors and assessor’s productivity. Provide constructive coaching and feedback.
  • Review delivery performance complaints and resolve concerns, documenting outcome.
  • Review and approve expense reports.
  • Update business systems and instructor records.
  • Collaborate with IT and the Fulfillment Department to provide necessary equipment and materials required to deliver I-CAR curriculum.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and work with Management and Human Resources to undertake disciplinary actions if required
  • Collaborate with Business Partners as required.
  • Provide technical support resources, create professional development training plans for instructors and assessors, collaborate with Train-The-Trainers to train instructors and assessors.
  • Collaborate with Management regarding feedback from Quality Control Department. Act upon QC reports, implement recommendations, and provide feedback to instructors.
  • Work with Scheduling Department to assign instructors and assessors to events.
  • Fixed Training Site (FTS) Coordination and Maintenance.
  • Attend and participate in conferences as required.

Education Requirement: Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent experience desired. I-CAR Platinum Pro Level 3. Vocational certificate in collision repair. Manufacturer certification or training. ISO or AWS welding certification. ASE Master Collision Repair Certification. Supervisory/management experience. Bi-lingual or multi-lingual is a plus. Required: High school diploma or equivalent required. Collision repair and/or welding experience. Mentoring/Team lead experience. Ability to obtain Pro Level One within 6 months and overall I-CAR Platinum designation within 18 months. Job Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Working knowledge of Windows Office Suite, NetForum, GoToMeeting, Internet software, e-mail, Adobe, database software, and other software as required/implemented.
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those which an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Most work is performed in a remote office environment. Computer operations (including email) and telephone, is approximately 50-75%. When traveling, the environment may be a collision repair facility, insurance training center, school classroom/workshop or hotel meeting room. The noise level in the environment is moderate to loud. Valid driver’s license required.
  • The incumbent is required to regularly stand, walk, sit, handle and finger, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, and crawl, squat or kneel and bend. The incumbent may be required to life and/or carry up to 50 pounds. The incumbent is required to be able to hear and smell. The incumbent is required to see, with near, color, peripheral and depth perception vision.
