Major Account Manager Microsoft

Come join Juniper Networks Cloud Team! We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and energetic Major Account Manager to join the Microsoft account team and grow Microsoft sales. The Major Account Manager will need to establish and develop key relationships between Microsoft and Juniper. You will also work closely with the Microsoft Lead AM, Juniper Sales Engineering, Architecture, Service Management, Product Management, and other Juniper teams to ensure alignment on key sales objectives. You will report to the Sales Director.

Primary Responsibilities

  • You will drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles and work with cross functional engineering/support teams to best serve the customer’s needs
  • Develop a comprehensive sales account plan with the sales team and Sales Director
  • Develop and drive new business
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs so you can effectively position Juniper solutions.
  • Manage sales opportunity pipeline and forecast, on a weekly, monthly quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Follow MEDDIC sales methodology with the team to qualify opportunities and identify key customer contacts
  • Establish and nurture relationships with Microsoft influencers, decision makers, and executives
  • Primary contact for customer supply chain leading and facilitating sales delivery, expedites, business metrics, contracts, demand planning, and pricing

Desired Candidate Background

  • 5+ years sales experience
  • Experience working on large sales teams and cross functional teams
  • Experience working at Microsoft or selling to Microsoft
  • Broad-based technological awareness, complemented by knowledge of networking solutions, routing, switching, and security concepts and products
  • Understand how Juniper products and solutions solve business problems
  • Experience developing sales strategies, preparing proposals, quotes, and presenting
  • Proven track record of successful sales execution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Leadership ability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain critical customer relationships.
  • Relationship management skills that translate into identifying decision-makers and influencers
  • Travel required

Minimum Salary: $190,080.00

Maximum Salary:$273,240.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $190,080.00 and $273,240.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
