Maitre d' Job at Pescado Seafood Grill and Rooftop Bar
As Maitre d', you are responsible for ensuring the restaurant host/hostess are trained, ready and prepared to properly greet, answer phone calls and guest inquiries, knowledgeable of the menu items and table numbers. The Maitre d' ensures consistent training and that company procedures and standards are followed.
- Lead the Host team to provide the highest quality service to guests at all times
- Work with the MOD to run the floor during service
- Organize and facilitate host/hostess training and meetings
- Open and close the business on scheduled opening/closing shifts
- Take lead in the Host/Hostess team and provide seamless fluidity in the restaurant
- Lead by example mentality with excellent leadership qualities, a polished floor presence, professional demeanor and appearance
- Lead authority on the floor regarding service quality and ensure the highest levels of organization are maintained in all areas of the Host stand
- Attend all scheduled operation meetings
- Make sure menus are kept to par and new menus are printed when necessary
- Keep reservation system up to date with operation times and reservations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
