We require the talent of a Maintenance Planner to join our team. This position is the subject matter expert for the Computerized Maintenance Management System and plans preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance programs and associated work to ensure machinery uptime is maximized.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Monday – Friday, Day shift. May be required to work flexible hours to support emergency and shift requirements

How you will make contributions that matter:

• Implement, improve and maintain Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Work closely with production & procurement to identify and record maintenance related inventory in the CMMS
• Develop, support and maintain optimal inventory plans to assist with the maintenance of equipment and management of spare parts
• Update software for new equipment or equipment changes, job plans, operating or maintenance manuals, spare part lists, maintenance history
• Establish and generate CMMS reports as required

Develop maintenance plans and schedule work

• Collaborate with maintenance and production to develop preventative maintenance plans and scheduling of non emergency based work orders and associated manpower
• Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance work orders within specifications, and compliance with appropriate guidelines/regulations
• Support maintenance projects by identifying parts required to execute work, tool requirements, manpower requirements, and the estimated completion time for effective planning & execution of maintenance work.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• Post Secondary education, preferably within mechanical maintenance or engineering field
• 5+ years of related experience within a fast paced continuous operation manufacturing sector
• CMMS implementation experience
• Thorough understanding of preventive/predictive/corrective maintenance principles, techniques and technologies
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Understanding of plant operations, plant equipment, repair techniques and resource planning
• Strong sense of urgency who works well under pressure and reacts to stressful situations with professionalism.

Pay: $65,910.00 - $70,611.00 per year
