Revere Court of Portland, an assisted living community located in Portland, seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee and maintain the communities’ physical plant, fixtures, equipment and grounds so that the facility is clean, comfortable, in good repair and in safe operating condition at all times.

The Maintenance Manager is a critical part of our team and is responsible for:
Maintaining the physical plant so it is in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws (fire, backflow, OSHA, water and refrigerator temperatures, etc.) and company standards.
Under the direction of the Community’s Executive Director, respond to all service requests and complete all Work Orders and Apartment Turnovers in a timely and professional manner in accordance with Chancellor's policies and procedures. This will include but not be limited to: minor maintenance, drywall repair, minor plumbing and painting and appliance maintenance.
Annual inspection and service of all apartments.
Purchase maintenance supplies and adhere to community maintenance budget, as directed by community Executive Director.
Maintain exterior of the property to ensure grounds are clean and property has excellent curb appeal.
Coordinate fire drills on every shift for training of staff and residents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Expect to be on your feet; walking, lifting, cleaning, and inspecting are all part of the job.
High School diploma or equivalent
You must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, read and understand written instructions, complete reports, and be able to communicate well with our residents and co-workers.
You must have basic knowledge of appliance repair, minor HVAC (change air filters, troubleshooting), general plumbing, basic electrical, general carpentry, painting, tape and texture, wall and baseboard preparation and repair, sheet rock patching, and carpet cleaning.
Ability to use tools and general maintenance equipment.
Must have valid drivers' license, own tools and own vehicle with proof of insurance.
