Summary
The Maintenance Coordinator provides administrative and task-based support to engineering, maintenance, planning, production and inventory/parts control as assigned through the Engineering Manager. This position has the authority to direct technical activities as required to meet work order demand, planned preventive maintenance needs and AIB compliance. This position has some degree of supervisory responsibilities which include work assignment and monitoring the completion of those tasks, time keeping, project follow-up and assignment and completion of work orders.

Duties

  • Weekly documentation submissions (Facility Maintenance Labor via Time Keeping, Credit card report, Budget report, Monthly supply order/expendables)
  • Prints, distributes, monitors and directs PM program
  • Research, obtain quotes and purchase parts
  • Maintain an online inventory of all facility parts via Maintenance Care.
  • Organize and maintain the parts area
  • Receive and return parts
  • Manage the internal WO system, open/close wo’s
  • Review forklift inspections and submit wo’s
  • Review PM turn in sheets and create WO, or add modify the PM sheet
  • Communications (Purchasing resources, site management, engineering manager, delivery drivers, vendors, corporate office personnel and project teams)
  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the engineering manager.
  • Filing, perform physical inventory, develop charts, perform statistical analysis, gather data, compile information into reports, assess costs, and research special parts and availability. Most analysis is completed in MS Excel.
  • Assist production planning and inventory management personnel when needed.
  • Conduct investigations, gather data and monitor process trends and flow for the purpose of process improvement.
  • Analyze metrics and KPI’s and compile into usable reports to provide analysis for predicting MTBF and parts need quantities.
  • Build, compile, edit, assemble and maintain all equipment documentation; its storage locations, the guide books in the engineering office, and all other locations containing schematics, drawings, reference manuals, instructions or books.
  • This position will learn and acquire a working knowledge of each of the positions in the facility as it relates to any use of automation (PPW, Cube Line, Tin Line, Etc.).
  • This position will utilize MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, Outlook and other proprietary software’s utilized throughout the Cochran Environment.

· Experience and knowledge of general parts (industrial, automotive, electrical, etc.)

Preferred Education and Experience

· High school diploma/GED

· AA in business, management or supervision; and/or 2+ years of experience as a parts counter person, inventory specialist, purchasing agent, etc.

This is a salaried position. Starting rate is $45,000/yr.
