Machine Operator Summary:

HSM is seeking qualified candidates for the Machine Operator position at our Wire Technology location in Conover, NC. This is a 1st shift position (7:00am-3:00pm). Listed below are the Qualifications and Requirements for the position.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Minor machine set-ups and assist in repairs of machine
• Inspect machine and all hand tools for any hazards to ensure machine is running properly.
• Retrieve part from machine and place in designated area.
• Using measuring devices – check part quality
• Complete pertinent paperwork for production and quality.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• Must have good mathematical skills
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to read a tape measure, micrometer, or calipers.
• Must be able to read and write
