Job Title: Machine Apprentice
Sterrett Plant Address: 11825 Hwy 280 Westover, AL 35147
Shifts Available: 1st Shift
Hourly Rate: starting at $18.00 to $20.00
Full Time: 40 hours weeks

Machine Apprentice helps the shop lead with assembling, repairs, and fabricating metal parts by operating CNC mechanical equipment. Being a Machine Apprentice, you will learn how to read blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product. With lots of supervision, the Machine Apprentice will quickly learn how to operate machines in the shop.

. Performs tasks in a safe and responsible manner
- Basic math with understanding of decimals, fractions, and how to read in thousands
- Understands and has the ability to follow manufacturing processes and procedures
- Desire to learn how to use measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
- Must have your own tools
Shift Times:
6:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday
