With a thorough understanding of our Why and business objectives, the Loyalty Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting the growth of our brands, our major loyalty marketing programs such as Friends With Benefits program, The Whiskey Club, guest services, and growing our concepts’ catering and events business.
The Eureka! & La Popular brands are looking for an individual that is a thought leader in strategy and business growth with a proven record of success in fast-paced environments. This role will require the development and scale of a variety of skills, including working with the marketing and operations teams, challenging the status quo, and problem-solving to remove barriers towards exponential growth opportunities. The role will be a self-starter who brings a blend of business acumen, guest centricity, critical thinking, business data analysis, excellence in cross functional stakeholder communications and management, along with a relentless drive to grow revenue. The ideal candidate will be eager and determined to seek out sales growth through successful loyalty, catering, and event opportunities.
Purpose of the Position
- The primary focus for this role is to drive sales to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Drive loyalty growth
- Empower team and drive a culture of accountability and transparency by using data and metrics
- Help coordinate and track new initiatives that better engage with our guests on an individual level
- Collect and analyze data to enhance our guest experience using our various marketing platforms
- Launch a catering component of both brands
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing and Marketing Manager to ensure our experiential programs align with our marketing strategy and overall business objectives
- Collaborate with Operations, Training, and Operations Services to ensure initiatives are well-received and executed across all teams
- Identify and capitalize on strategic partners that complement the restaurants existing and new brands
Position Duties
Loyalty / CRM
- Work with internal stakeholders to maintain and continuously enhance our loyalty program, Friends with Benefits, that resonates with guests and is focused on generating additional revenue for the restaurants
- Lead the planning and execution of the CRM channel including email lifecycle marketing, push notifications, app-messaging, and more across all brands
- Build data driven offers, campaigns, and messaging that support our KPI’s and drive ROI
- Coordinate A/B tests to identify efficient campaign practices
- Analyzing guest data from loyalty program and curate unique experiences, targeted communication, and one-of-a-kind offers with a goal of driving guest visit frequency
- Drive marketing automation with audience creation and content development to drive a highly engaged audience
- Increase overall adaptation and connection with the guests
- Own app content management – ensuring marketing messaging is consistent throughout all loyalty platforms
- Work with our loyalty partners to identify, plan, and support execution of initiatives to continuously improve our loyalty guest experience
E-Commerce / Whiskey Club / Merchandise
- Establish goals and strategic initiatives to grow Eureka! & La Popular’s e-commerce presence.
- Coordinate monthly sales of internal Whiskey Club including item inclusion sheets, product purchasing for restaurants, and regular guest services.
- Coordinate monthly virtual tasting events with partnered distilleries and internal stakeholders.
- Enhance whiskey club with regular membership bonus ideas, additional event programming like whiskey dinners, bottle giveaways, and more.
- Identify opportunities to cross promote whiskey club members via loyalty program
- Source and curate merchandise to be used for sale at restaurants, giveaways for partnerships, guest gifts and more.
- Establish merchandise presence
Catering
- Understand the impact of the catering operations to overall success of the brands
- Work with the operations teacatering/ off-site revenue streamsms to support our restaurants with implementation and execution of
- Assist teams to develop lasting local relationships with groups to retain business and increase growth
New Brand Launches & Restaurant Openings
- Assist teams to develop lasting local relationships with groups to retain business and increase gowthtion with each brand and individual restaurant openings
Guest Services
- Promoting and providing exceptional guest service
- Respond to website and social guest inquiries via multiple communicate avenues
- Empower teams to provide exceptional guest service
- Emphasize guest satisfaction across all touch points
Qualifications
- 5-8 years relevant experience in marketing and communications.
- Four-year college degree required, preferably in Communications, PR, Advertising, and/or Marketing.
- Strong foundation of analytics, project management, and marketing.
- Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy.
- A strong sense of teamwork and ability to work well with others.
- Ability to create influence and buy-in from participating teams.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Experience in the restaurant industry preferred
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
- Creative and innovative with marketing approaches.
- Proficient in Windows Office, Microsoft Office, Mac OSX, Powerpoint.
- Knowledge of online technology and implementation with particular interest in blogs, social networks, virtual worlds, wiki’s, mobile and other emerging trends- including but not limited to Facebook and Twitter, Instagram, and Wordpress etc.
- Ability to assess business goals, market requirements, guests, challenges, and opportunities within the area and input that knowledge into the creation of programs, etc.
- Must be organized, efficient, and able to prioritize multiple projects.
- Located in a Eureka! or La Popular CDMX market for the purposes of being on site as needed.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 50 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion; working with and around hot, cold, and hazardous equipment in a fast paced and congested environment that will occasionally be loud, hot, cold and/or physically demanding. Position requires occasional travel that may consist of driving and/or airplane flights for a period of one or more days therein requiring one or more overnight stays; notice of travel may be given with very short notice. Position requires occasional training that may take place on or off-site, by phone and/or online.
