Position Summary:
We are currently looking for a Lobby Attendant/EVS to join our team.
Responsibilities:
The role of the Lobby Attendant is to generally maintain cleanliness of all spaces within the hotel. Some, but certainly not all, of this position's responsibilities include;
- Thoroughly clean public areas, such as the lobby, restrooms, hallways and elevators
- Clean and remove trash from rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas.
- Vacuuming rugs and carpets and mopping tile floors.
- Washing windows and glass doors
- Handling Housekeeping-oriented and Houseperson-oriented tasks when necessary.
You must have at least six months' experience as a Lobby Attendant/Public Area Cleaner or Housekeeper in a full-service hotel to be considered for this job. If your application or resume shows you have this experience, we would love to meet you!
Ability to attend to guests, associates and management in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner which requires strong customer service as well as written and oral communication skills.- Must be able to speak, read, write and communicate in English to adequately perform the duties of the job.
- Knowledge of basic sanitation requirements/controls and applications of relevant chemicals.
- Knowledge of a corporate policies applicable to housekeeping, especially those relating to safety and security of guest and hotel property.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Must be detail-oriented in cleaning rooms and public spaces.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
- Must be energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs
